7.012 is one of four GIR biology classes, and is the only one currently taught in the fall. Lander, Mischke, and Weinberg teach this class.

• Lander is an excellent lecturer. He's very engaging and asks a lot of questions. He teaches most of the first half of this course but sporadically teaches classes in the later half. Lander teaches the class from a genetics standpoint, as most of his work deals with genetics. He was a major player in the Human Genome Project.

• Mischke is the course coordinator and teaches very little, but her lectures are very good as well.

• Weinberg teaches the majority of the second half of this course. He's a decent lecturer, though not as engaging as Lander.
