Flour Bakery and Cafe is a chain of 4 restaurants in the Boston area, managed by Joanne Chang. The Central Square location is most frequently visited by Floorpi residents, but there are also establishments in Back Bay, South End, and Fort Point. It is held in high regard by many Floorpi residents and in low regard by a few. It also has a 27/30 from Zagat.
Some of the most delicious items are:
- sandwiches (try the BLT or portobello melt!)
- sticky buns
- brioche loaves
- quiches
Flour also makes sugar-covered donuts, similar to malasadas on Sunday mornings. If you happen to be awake at that time, they're worth it.
