Shirts

Designs:

  • Basic floorpi logo (with or without any text) - this has been done a lot in the past, similar to last year's, but not exactly the same. (no design link yet)
  • Pi Digits: something like this
  • Pi/Pie: something like this

Notes:

  • If you can't see the design in the retrieve link given, click on the shirt and it'll take you to a window where you can zoom in
  • Price depends on quantity ordered and the number of colors of printing (sides counted separately)
  • Every extra color per side costs an extra $1-2 per shirt
  • If we order 20 shirts with one color (about what we did last year) the shirts will be about $10 each
  • That quote is for regular cotton shirts (we ordered Hanes Tagless last year, but Champion, Port and Company, Gildan, and Anvil all have similar shirts for similar prices). American Apparel shirts are $3-4 more per shirt. Shirts with pockets are $2 more per shirt.

Timeline:

  • Designs to Rachel (remeyer) by earlier than today
  • Final designs have been emailed out for voting
  • Vote by Wednesday July 30 11:59 PM (EST)
  • Final design chosen by first of August, any final tweaks made, shirts ordered Monday 8/4
  • Shirts arrive week before rush starts

$preferences on type of shirt: (meaning brands, tagged/tagless, % cotton, pockets...)

$how much are you willing to spend: (read the notes in the wiki for details. in summary cost is highly variable on # of colors & also depends on type of shirt & number ordered. last year's were $10)

if you answered the last question with a number less than 8.5 don't continue and don't send this email. if everybody on hall got a shirt & they only had one color they wouldn't get cheaper than that...
