O'Sullivan's

O'Sullivan's (or more formally, R. F. O'Sullivan and Sons), serves delicious juicy half-pound burgers. Really, that's all you need to know. Oh, and the fries are real fries -- like, wedges of potatoes -- not the bullshit fast food places have gotten us accustomed to.

Location

The O'Sullivan's Pub is located on 282 Beacon St.

Take the Red Line T to Porter Square. Take the right-hand exit from the station and follow the sidewalk you're on away from the intersection. Walk until the commuter rail tracks on your right pass under a road. This road is Beacon St. Make a right on it, and then a left, staying on Beacon Street. Walk about 4 blocks. The pub will be on your right, at the intersection with Sacramento St. There will be a Star Market on your left. Try not to get lost.

Selection

You will order a Blackjack. You may choose how much you want it cooked, you can put stuff on it, your can have onion rings instead of fries, but you must order the Blackjack. Those who have already tasted the glory are permitted to stray from the path of righteousness every once in a while, so they may truly appreciate the wonders of the Blackjack.

Do not attempt to order the Blackjack without the Blackjack sauce. Yes, it contains mayo, and yes, it's a little spicy, but the sauce is the whole point of the burger. Ask for the sauce to be put on the side if you really think you won't like it (if this is in fact the case, there will be a ritual beating when you return to hall). Hell, ask for additional sauce on the side anyways, it goes great with the fries.

If you are one of those people who would rather murder flora than fauna, don't worry. You will still order the Blackjack, like so: "I would like a veggie burger, with Blackjack toppings. And extra Blackjack sauce on the side."

Underage people may attempt to order booze here -- the worst that will happen is that waitress will smirk at you after she requests ID and you abruptly change your order.
